#1 Public Sector Intrapreneurs

Public sector intrapreneur, although the term is used with various connotations, refer to individuals who are employed by a public sector organization but carry out entrepreneurial activities on behalf of their organization.

The responsibilities of public sector intrapreneur's mirror those of entrepreneurs in any other context. They identify opportunities, engage in marketing efforts, engage in client discussions, finalize projects, make decisions regarding pricing, participate in project execution, oversee cash flow, manage billing cycles, follow up on payment collection, and ultimately conclude projects.

It is important to note that public sector intrapreneur do not perform these tasks in isolation but rather collaborate with their team. However, they serve as a central figure in driving the business activities of their organization.

This blog has been created with the intention of discussing my experiences as a Public Sector Intrapreneur. As a mechanical engineer working in a public sector undertaking in Kerala, I believe the specific organization's name and other details are not crucial to the topics being discussed.
